Description
This luxury 4 bedroomed villa is located in between the Canarian villages of Villaverde and La Olive in the north of Fuerteventura. The villa is a short drive from the nearest supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Within a 15 minute drive you will find the harbour resort of El Cotillo which has superb surf beaches and lagoon pools for child friendly swimming and snorkelling.
The villa makes an excellent base for exploring everything that the island of Fuerteventura has to offer whether you want to lie and soak up the sun, explore the heritage of this diverse island or take part in the numerous watersports on offer in the nearby resort of Corralejo
Fuerteventura enjoys year round sunshine making it a popular destination for sun worshippers. However, there is much more to this beautiful island than just being a tan. Fuerteventura has beaches of fine white sand to rival any in the Caribbean, there are so many beaches that you will always find somewhere private and peaceful even in the middle of summer. Naturism is popular on Fuerteventura and there are many beaches where this is possible.
Fuerteventura has a diverse landscape from the sand dunes beaches in the north and south of the island to the mountainous interior. Hire a car and spend a couple of days exploring and you won't be disappointed. The town on Betancuria used to be the capital of Fuerteventura and is worth a visit to see a typical Canarian village. The current capital of Puerto de Rosario is a thriving port town which has undergone a big regeneration in recent years and is home to the largest shopping centre on the island, Las Rotundas where you will find several floors of high streets shops (including C and A, H and M and many more) plus a good range of bars and restaurants.
Take a trip down south and you can visit the Oasis Park Zoo and Cactus Garden. This well laid out attraction is located about an hours drive from the villa and makes a great day out for the young and young at heart with it's dolphin and sealion shows and camel rides.
